I'm a FTM...and barely showing at 11 weeks, but wow...now that I'm starting to be more free about telling people the news, it seems EVERYONE is touching, rubbing, talking to, kissing my little blump! I knew this would happen sometimes eventually but already? Seems crazy to me. It's a little weird but doesn't bug me a lot (yet!) I just shake my head....
Does this bug any of you? If so, how do you politely deal with it?
Re: People touching my belly ALREADY?
I get the touching when we have big preggo bellies...the only person I think I'd let kiss my stomach would be DH.
Until it's acceptable, I say if someone rubs your belly, you rub theirs. Make them feel just as awkward.

My one SIL touched mine a couple times this weekend. She even took her 8 month old daughters hand and touched my belly with it lol. As if my niece wanted to touch it. Geez.
I don't like people touching me and I know it's gonna happen whether we want it to or not.
Random strangers though.. Better not try or I'll make it awkward by either going wahoo like the pilsbury dough guy or rubbing their tums back.
When it's people I know I don't mind quite as much, but otherwise I'm really not that touchy-feely. With DS I worked with 6 women who had babies within 6 months of my pregnancy so there was a lot of belly touching there, but they were so excited and cute about it that it didn't bother me too much. Strangers, on the other hand....
If a stranger does, they're getting smacked. If it's someone I know, then I might just touch theirs back, or else say something. I SUPPOSE if you're a 90-something year old lady then I might let it go, but the only really old lady I know is my next door neighbor and she's not the type who would touch someone's belly.

Balaustine: an anthology about wanting family
I can't remember who it was right now, but a couple weeks ago someone went to rub my (fat) belly (totally not showing through the super fluff...) and I must have had a weird look on my face because she stopped and just rubbed the air in front of my belly.
Slightly awkward, but much less horrible for me than actual touching of my fluff.
