Glucose testing

I'm 27 weeks and had my glucose testing. With this test I did the same steps to prepare with my 1st pregnancy--- all that is required. I drink the drink and an hour later go to get my blood drawn. Right after my blood draws I start to faint and puke up the drink! OMG. And the TMI part, I started to tinkle as I'm throwing up! What a nightmare!

The only good part I got the blood work done before puking! Anyone else puke after their glucose blood testing?

Fyi When I was pregnant with my son I did not have gestational disbeties.

    No thank goodness but that stuff is HORRIBLE!!!!  I am not a fan of sweets so it makes it even worse.  Hope you are feeling better...that is no way to spend an afternoon :(

    So sorry. Ugh. I didn't puke but I did feel a bit lightheaded and about 2 hrs after I crashed hard. Had to go home and lay down, was useless the rest of the day. Thankfully I passed so I won't have to do the 3 hr test.
    Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

    Good news, the test came back, no gestational disbeties! I thought the throwing up meant I was forsure going to get bad news-nope! All good!
