Just when I felt like things were evening out - milk coming in, girls latching better, etc - I seem to have had a supply drop, my nipples are killing me, and I can't figure out how to nurse each girl each feeding (had been nursing one, giving the other a bottle before and then switching next feed). Help?

As for getting out, BFing is great for that. No need to pack bottles and formula. I preferred privacy for tandem nursing, so I often used fitting rooms in stores or the nursing room at BRU. As they got older and became really fast at nursing I found it easier to feed them one at a time. Then I used a drape and nursed wherever.
Hang in there. The beginning is hard but it's definitely worth it.
