So I went to the MFM today for my 2nd tri appt and I said the one thing I was concerned with was the lack of cervical checks. He said that there was really no point in knowing the length of the cervix because there is nothing that can be done to prevent it??? He said that if I had a short measurement the only thing it would do is make me worry. Does this seem right? I like him but this seems off to me. I'm in Pittsburgh and we have an wonderful MFM group here through Magee Womens Hospital, which is one of the leading hospitals for ob in the country. I'm just not sure what to think!!! Thanks for your input!
