Hi all,
I unfortunately have been battling chronic BV for a few years now, but ESPECIALLY since we started TTC over a year and a half ago. We have been to see an excellent RE and have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I have heard conflicting opinions from docs on whether BV can affect fertility or not...but I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this frustrating and heartbreaking issue? Also, if any of you have heard whether BV can affect fertility in general, or even an IUI? We are getting ready to try IUI for the first time next month and I need to know if I should be checked and/or treated beforehand. (Sometimes I have VERY apparent symptoms, and sometimes not at all.) Thanks!
