Halloween Costume ideas?

Kind of a tangent from @jlbergeron post about fall. Have any of you thought about any fun Halloween costumes? I've heard of pregnant women dressing up as Juno but I doubt my bump will be that big by then....any other cool ideas?

Re: Halloween Costume ideas?

  • Oh I dont think my bump will be big enough to make it part of my halloween costume. But I plan on being Fred Wilma and Pebbles Flinstone. This will be the last year we can get away with it since next Halloween we will be a family of 4 :)

  • I'm not doing anything pregnancy related. We are just doing Monster's Inc. DD as Boo, DS as Sully and DH and I as monsters.

  • @rlmanning I did those same costumes a few years ago. So cute and everyone loved them! You'll have to share a pic :)
  • We are going as Adventure Time!  DS is going to be Finn and DH is going as Jake, and I'll go as Princess Bubblegum

  • we are debbie downers and we don't ever dress up for halloween....  not even our kiddo.  halloween is not a big holiday in our house.
  • Gosh you ladies are on the ball! I feel like I'm always scrambling two weeks before.

  • DS is going to be Yoda, DH is going to be Obi Wan Kenobi, and I'm going to be Chewbacca (a pregnant, female Chewbacca). I love Halloween (and Star Wars). ;)
  • I hope I have a good bump going. At 10.5 weeks it has a good start! I really wanted to be a zombie and have a zombie baby tearing out of my stomach. DH says that may be too much.
Mom to 10 year old DS and 7 year old DD. Twin girls coming soon!

  • I usually wear a headband that has a witches hat attached to it and maybe a light up necklace....you guys are really creative :)

Last year DS was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. This year I kinda wanted him to be a lion b/c he has learned that lions roar (he's 20 months). But then again it's so similar to last year, so I don't know.

  • This is what I'm doing. Just making it all out of white felt that I had from my nephew's costume last year
  • There's a cute skeleton shirt out there somewhere that has a skeleton fetus on it, that's pretty darn cute and I might do that. I mean, it's lazy, but I'm ok with that.
  • DH has been several funny things (I dress him every year): the Brawny Man, a 'Mexican' man, Bruce Lee, Tiger Woods, Jacob (from Twilight - we were Team Taylor, and I went as Taylor Swift), Bruce (from Swamp People)... This year I'll probably put him together a Duck Dynasty outfit.  I'm the worst at picking out my own costume though, since I don't believe in buying premade costumes, and we always host a blow out Halloween party that takes up all my time to get the house and food ready for.
  • I'm wearing all back, putting a number 8 on my tummy and being an 8 ball.
  • My DH is gonna be Dexter and I am gonna be wrapped in plastic with a knife in my chest
  • Saw a cute idea online- wearing an oven with a bun in it. And my husband will be a baker :)
  • @buttongirl82 I may be stealing your idea :)
  • The hubs and I are most likely going as Dani and Jorah from Game of Thrones and I'm going to write "the stallion who mounts the world" on my tummy! Haha we're nerds.
"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." -Dr. Seuss
  • I don't dress up for Halloween usually - I save that for Comic-con. But something tells me I'll be retiring my spandex supersuits... lol
  • I'm with @nikki912...

@mooncusp22 cute shirt! I love the shirt!

@ButtonGirl82 I was thinking the same thing! a bun in the oven. Cut up a tissue box put a viewing oven window at the bottom and put a hamburger bun in it hahha. Color the box grey and hold it over my tummy somehow.... :)
