I am 6w 1d and we are going to the ILs for Rosh Hashana tomorrow (Happy New Year, Shana Tova to those who observe). I am dying to tell them the good news but DH really wants to wait until 12 weeks! Any advice on how to keep my mouth shut?
good idea saying you're sick- maybe on antibiotics? I've had so much trouble because I just get a huge grin when people ask. I find it kinda crazy that people out right ask, but they all just said they had dreams that I was pregnant or "just knew" when they saw me. Hopefully you can evade the female 6th sense
I don't know if I'm an expert though, I've told each person who asks! haha
It's amazing how many women have guessed in such a short time. The day I took the pregnancy test a friend who I hadn't seen in weeks texted me and said "Anything you want to tell me?"!! I didn't confirm but it was so crazy how she sensed it. Maybe my ILs already know somehow...
No advice here. Just wanted to say Shana tova to my Jewish friends. I guess I would fib a little and say I was getting over something and try to lay low. Good luck!
I'm 6w 3d and this is my second pregnancy and I think I'm more excited with this one (the first I was more nervous). I have my first doctor's appointment next week and I think I'm going to tell after that. My husband and I are about to burst and of course every time someone looks at me I think they know something's up.
