Simple Halloween Costume

So here's the backstory... Every year DH's Uncle and his fiance have a HUGE costume party. Last year DH and I were Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. Don't worry the blue stuff in the baggie is rock candy...but it was a huge hit.

This year the part is on Oct. 19th, two weeks before my due date. I told DH I really don't feel comfortable going... there's usually a lot of smokers there anyway so we decided we will sit home this year instead.

But I just had to share an idea I had for a costume for pregnant ladies!! It's so simple... you have a name-tag that says "Hi my name is RoseMary" and then of course you're pregnant so the costume would be "RoseMary's Baby". DH didn't get it because he hasn't seen the movie, but it is a classic so I think we're going to watch it tonight.

Anywho I just wanted to share... and it's going to be slow at work today...

If DH can get his hands on a wheelchair for a night, we're planning on going to a party as Peter and Lois Griffin's neighbors Joe and Bonnie Swanson from Family Guy (the one in the purple dress who is perpetually pregnant). We think it's pretty brilliant but just need to figure out a way to pull it off. :-)

I thought about doing Breaking Bad again... while pregnant we could all be Skyler from season 1! haha

Two years ago, I was pregnant with DS and This is what DH and I did. I painted my belly black and drew on a baby skeleton with glow in the dark paint. DH painted his face with the glow in the dark paint to look like a skeleton. Turn off lights and voila! It was a big hit and super simple :-)

I was a devolved egg when I was pregnant with DD. I painted a fried egg on a white tank top, with devil horns. I wore devil horns, a tail and carried a red pitchfork. I also spraye my hair bright red, super easy. Ill be doing te same this year

ouu ouu ouu!! Halloween is my absolute favorite! I bought a tutu for the Born This Way Ball (which got cancelled so I didn't get to go) so I'm going to be a UFO and I'm forcing DH to be an alien.
