So apparently the Bible of Larry fanfic is an AU work entitled "These Inconvenient Fireworks." It's like a full-length novel and apparently extremely well-written and amazing and feel-inducing. I've been seeing it recommended and and referred to on tumblr for ages so of course my current spiral inevitably led me to search for it.

Well, it's next to impossible to find, or to get to. The authors are very intent on staying private and keeping this novel (because again, it's a freaking novel) off the 1D radar. After I google- and tumblr-searched, I had to create a LiveJournal account and THEN friend the author on LJ. Then I was warned that if I tagged the title on tumblr under any major tags like #larry stylinson or #one direction or any of the boys' names, the link would be deleted and I would be publicly shamed.

I mean, holy shit, you guys. I can't freaking wait to read this thing if just accessing it is so intense.

Eh, I'm nine chapters in and a little disappointed in it so far after all the hype. Maybe everyone thought it was amazing because it was one of the first really good ones out there, but I've read better things that have been published since. It's kind of the same old story: Lous meets Harry under cute circumstances, he's instantly attracted, they become good friends and Louis has angst because he can't quite figure out which way Harry swings, and then the sexual tension becomes unbearable until someone finally makes a move, they go at it like rabbits, and then Louis gets scared of his feelings. I have no doubt that he will end up pushing Harry away and then realize that he's been in love with him all along and they belong together, because that's what happens in all of these fanfics, even the really good ones (except for the Amazing Race one, which is my very most favorite).

But there is a sidebar Ziam plotline that's hilarious.

They all work at a school except for Liam, who is a firefighter. Zayn is super broody and teaches lit, Louis teaches dramz, and Harry is an assistant football coach.

I seriously feel like I have read it all at this point. The Amazing Race is still my favorite, although everything that author writes is hilarious. She also wrote one in which Louis is competing on Britain's Next Top Model and Harry is a top photographer. And she wrote the non-AU cat one that I really love, too.

I read one the other day that legit made me cry, though. It was a non-AU based around some show they did at O2 last spring when they didn't look at each other once during the whole show. It was Harry's POV about how their relationship ended and it was super angsty but very good. @onederfulmother, I think you should read it. Like, if I had to pinpoint what I really think deep-down is the current state of Larry IRL, it would be like that fanfic.
