sick of guys honestly

I keep trying to talk to the baby's daddy about business and keeps avoiding me. he keeps saying he will call me and always flakes. is he trying to avoid me? scared? annoyed by me? I honestly don't know. why can't he just be straight up?

    AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH this kind of sounds like mine!! Said he would call and never did! And won't respond. I'm fed up. Fed up. Fed up. Everyone keeps saying he's scared or he needs to see the baby first. Blah blah blah blah. Just respond to your responsibility!!!!!

    My situation is a little different, I don't want BD calling or texting me. He did a few times within the first month of her life but I haven't heard from him since.  I'm considering a change in phone number so he can't contact me ever again.  However, I do agree with most people who say that "it'll change once he sees the baby".  It can go in either direction, maybe he'll fall in love with the LO or maybe he'll look at all the features and deny that LO is his.  My BD was obviously smitten when he saw her. But, again, it's been almost 2 mo since he saw her and I haven't heard from him.  Your dude, I can guarantee that he's freaking out about impending fatherhood (whether or not you decide to allow him in the picture).  Some guys just can't stand up to responsibility. What is important is that you prepare yourself for baby (I assume you plan to keep the baby and not giving him/her to adopt?) and try not to get stressed out.  Stressing over the idiot and his stupid actions will just hurt you and hurt LO.

    He might be scared, but I think that's giving him too much credit. I made a lot if excuses for my ex before I realized he was just a POS man child. If you say you'll call then call. Bottom line. If he's not answering your calls or texts, then yes he's trying to avoid you. Plan on him not being around because that's what he's shown you so far.
