IUI random, and has anyone had a bfp first cycle?

I don't remember anyone on here so had a successful first iui. I am not really holding out hope first the first one to be successful for me either. That seems so terrible. It seems so long ago I went through this with ds I can't even remember what all the results they will tell me after b/w & u/s mean. I feel like a newb. Lol. 

Last time we were very open about everything we were going through. But this time we are keeping it much quieter which is going to be hard for me as well. I am such a heart on my sleeve kind of person. So I might post randomly here just to get it out. I hope that's okay.

    I had bfp was both my first IUI's, both cycles we tried at Shady Grove. IUI with stims though. Other doctors I went to just tried different meds that didn't work for me which is why I never had luck before that but once we got on the right meds the IUI worked. We didn't tell anyone we were trying this time around because we know most of the time it takes 3 cycles at least to get pregnant. But you never know. Good luck!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    I'm pregnant after my first IUI! :). Had it done on 8/13 & now I'm due on 5/6/14. Incredibly shocked and excited, as we planned to do 4 of them!

    Twice! I got a BFP on my first IUI with my daughter (born May 2012), and I just got a BFP on my first IUI with a new baby (due May 2014). I was shocked both times too, so good luck!
