6 months old and crib bumpers

My son will be 6 months in 3 days.. I was wondering if and when you started putting crib bumpers into crib, he always hits his head and gets his legs or arms stuck then wakes up.. He's been able to roll front from to back and back to front since he was about 4 1/2 months consistantly

Honestly, we've used a mesh crib bumper since he started sleeping in his crib at 4.5 months. And we haven't had any issues.

We never used bumpers. Never was an issue to not use bumpers. Even past 6 months there's still a possibility of them using the bumpers to climb out of the crib or getting trapped/strangled to death.So we never even bothered with them.

We've used a mesh bumper since she started sleeping in the crib around 2 months old. Never had an issue. I like that it helps keep the pacifier in - when we go sleep at grandma's (where there is no bumper), the paci always ends up behind the crib against the wall, and it's a PITA to get it out.

We've never used them. He was getting arms and legs stuck a few times and screaming bloody murder. But then he stopped getting them stuck so much, or just didn't scream about.

We used a mesh bumper til he started being able to roll over (about 4 months tops) & after that we put his normal bumper back in. and he's almost 9 months and no issues!
