MBR for me...Ugh!

I had my 24 week appointment this morning. All was well until they took my BP and it was 140/79. Couple that with a 12 pound weight gain in a month (barf) and they were a bit concerned. I have to do a 24 hour urine collection and some blood work next week. They tested my BP when I was leaving and it was 104/65.

I have to take my own BP at home and make sure it stays below 140/90.

I'm sorta frustrated with myself because I always have high BP when I first get to the doctor so that is where it all started. I feel great otherwise. No contractions, etc.

    Ugh, I'm always a stress case at the OB's office. Just take it easy and I'm sure you'll be fine. Doesn't hurt to monitor your BP anyway. (HUG)

    This happened to me on a milder level. I was running late and DH made me angry. So, high Bp. Luckily, they understood and I got a redo at end of appt. it was at my NST too, they were ready to admit me!
