Hep lock question...

I can't remember how long they made me keep my hep lock in after my last c-section. I am scheduled to have a RCS on the 20th and was wondering if it was kept in for 24 hours or for the duration of your stay?

My then 2.5 year old was super freaked out by it and I am trying to avoid that meltdown this time!

Not that long. He was born @ 3:45 am, and I want to say it was out by that afternoon/evening, so maybe 12ish hours?

Ok thanks ladies! DH and I could not recall! Surgery is set for 730 the same as last time so we may just have him come visit the next day just to be safe
