Moms of 2+ diaper bag help

With DD I bought just a simple Land's End tote for a diaper bag, and it worked great.  Now I have DD2 on the way, and I need to get something bigger...and with pockets and such to help organize.  I really have no idea where to start.  I was looking at the PBK diaper bags, but they don't have reviews on there.  I like the look of PBK diaper bags, but I know it needs to be functional.  Thanks!

  • My OiOi Carry All is probably my favorite bag. I can find everything for the boys quickly and without digging. I also have a Timi and Leslie Tote that has nice pockets but everything goes down to the bottom and then I have to dig. Both bags do work for 2.

My OiOi is in another print, but here it is:

  • I just bought a Skip Hop Duo Essnetials bag.  I am a CD'ing mom and can fit cloth diapers and my wet bag in there, along with food, sippy cups, my wallet, keys, change of clothes and a few toys.  I love all the pockets.

  • Thanks guys!  I really like the look of the skip hop grand central!
  • I will agree with @FmrAFBrat, my two favorites are my OiOi Carry All and my Timi and Leslie Sophia. I have 3 kids and so my requirements are at least 2 main pockets to keep things separated and TONS of smaller pockets for organizing.

The OiOi Carry All doesn't have "quite" as many pockets as I'd prefer, but I still really love the bag and for most people it would probably have plenty of organizing pockets. The T&L bag has the perfect amount of pockets and I LOVE that it has 3 main compartments so that I can keep the babies things separate from the older kids items and I still have a full compartment for just my things, but it is a pretty big and bulky bag and gets heavy. So both have their positives and negatives, but they are the best I've found.

I owned and returned a Skip Hop Grand Central. They layout is perfect for how I like to organize, but the material and fittings were very cheap and I didn't feel like it would hold up well to the amount of use I need and I also didn't like the look of the material when I was carrying it. But, I'm picky like that. It did have great pockets and layout.

I also have several PPB bags and used the boxy backpack occasionally when I had just 2 kids and will sometimes use it when I'm taking the baby out alone, but I find it very disorganized (everything goes to the bottom of the main section) and just not that user friendly. Although they are cute, which is why I break mine out every now and again.

I'm really interested in the SoYoung Charlie bag, but it's a little masculine looking for my taste, but I really like the organization features, so this one is next on my list to try.

    Hope this helps!

  • I really love my Cocalo Couture bag. It carries everything without looking stuffed or falling to the bottom and getting lost.

  • I love my Jujube BFF for my 2.  It gets me through almost all outings.  I will bring an overflow bag with some extra stuff if we will be out all day and away from the car.

  • I can't give you a reccomendation on a bag since I have a ppb weekender bag which is beyond what most people need ( I have four kids under six) however I will tell you if your looking for organization take a peak at the Sugar Booger diaper bag organizers . They are amazing . I have two sets and they keep my gigantic bag from becoming a black hole .
