Hello ladies!

Just scanning down the posts I can see so many familiar 'faces', it's unfortunate that so many of us find ourselves over here. ((Hugs))

I won't intro at great length as many of you (hopefully) know me from TTCAL. It's been around 7 months since my ectopic loss in January, I just passed my EDD on Thursday, and I turn 40 in just over a week. Talk about milestones coming at me fast and furious! I've had some testing done, but due to the sudden departure of my old OB before results came back, they have never been properly interpreted, so I'm waiting on my first appointment with the new OB in October to see what next steps might be. Unfortunately where I live the closest RE would be an 11 hour drive away, so I'm hoping the new OB, who comes highly recommended, will be a good fit for us.

This board is really slow, so intros usually sit for a few days without a response. I'm new here myself, so it isn't up to me who is welcomed and who isn't, but I certainly know you've been an active TTCALer and appreciate all the support you've given in the past. So sorry again that you were displaced when your OB left, but I know for sure you'll be in better hands with your new doc come October. He's definitely worth the wait

Yeah, you'd know about that distance to RE situation too eh!

And it's thanks to you I knew how to proceed when the old OB up and left, so thank you once again for all of YOUR support! >:D<

The middle of nowhere, otherwise known as central BC, Canada. It's a huge province, and Vancouver is our one major centre with apparently no fertility clinics or REs outside of there.

The US is just as far away as Vancouver. From what I've been told, several of the OBs up here tend to take on more of an RE role because there just aren't any around, and the one I'll be seeing comes highly recommended in this regard. Of course, I'm sure anything he might do will be limited to simpler medications, monitoring, and procedures than what would be available at a clinic down south, but we'll just have to see how things go for now. Thanks all for your interest and suggestions, I really do appreciate it!!
