No Longer Likes Spoon?

DS is 7 months old today. He started solids at 4 months as per the recommendation of our pedi and the fact that he was showing signs of readiness and he took to it right away. He worked his way through purees quickly and is now having a mix of purees and table food. All of the sudden, the past few days, he seems to not really want to eat from the spoon with me feeding him. He's more receptive to eating when I feed him pieces of food with my fingers, but that is obviously not possible with everything (like yogurt). He is starting to be able to pick up foods by himself and feed himself, but isn't great at it yet and gets frustrated that he isn't get enough food (or eating quickly enough).

Has anyone else been through this? Suggestions?

I'm not super worried about the quantity as he still drinks PLENTY of formula... I mostly just want to continue the positive momentum we had going and make sure that eating doesn't turn into a negative experience for him.
