sick & sleeping trouble

My LO is sick with a cold.  He  is usually a great sleeper but the past 2 days he is refusing to sleep in his bed.  I made the mistake of letting him sleep in our bed after being so tired the other night.  Now he is putting up such a fight.  I hate to see him crying so much when he is sick.  He is sleeping in my bed right now (ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! ).  We did a version of CIO when he was around 6 months & it worked great.  Now I feel like im screwing things up.  WWYD?  Do I wait till he is feeling better?  He wont even let me rock him in his room because he knows I usually put him in his crib after.  I think ill try to move him into his room in a little bit.  Wish me luck :)!
