Happy birthday, DS!

Today is DS's birthday. We went to the doctor where he threw a fit when the NP tried to look in his ears, but calmly sat and watched while the did a finger prick to check for anemia. He didn't even flinch when the pricked his finger.

He's 35" tall and 31.7lbs. At first she said he was 33.5", and I pointed out that he was 34" at his last appointment. He's not good at standing up against the wall to be measured.

To celebrate his new-found terrible-two-ness, he added the term "cat barf" to his vocabulary (thanks, DH) after he literally stumbled across some in the corner (thanks, cat) and decided that his stuffed wolf should "eat" it, and then he got hand soap all over the carpet (which is my fault since I left the bathroom door open).

It was an eventful day.
