I was expecting to feel sicker by now...

I've got the occasional wave of nausea, and sure my boobs are sore and I'm always hungry, but I'm usually a wuss when I'm sick and I still feel pretty good. Anyone else?

Re: I was expecting to feel sicker by now...

  • I'm 5.5 weeks along.

  • I'm all good here! I'm not sure whether to celebrate or not. My boys I had zero symptoms and my DD was vomiting for weeks.
  • I feel good too. My boobs are sore and today I've had a lot of pulling in my ute but other than that I'm fine. I doubt it will last so I'm trying to really enjoy this time.
  • I had really bad morning sickness with my DD, but nothing yet. I should be thankful, but I want something to seem more real since my first appointment isn't for another 4 weeks. I'm sure I will regret saying that in a week or two!

  • I'm good too aside from acting like The Very Hungry Caterpillar :)

  • I've heard from a few pregnant friends that 6 weeks is when morning sickness really started for them. I'm being optimistic and hoping I'm one of the lucky ones who won't get super sick. Lol.
  • I didn't get m/s until 8 weeks last time.

  • I felt awesome last time until I hit 8 weeks. Then I was sick as a dog for three months. I'm feeling off now and nauseous here and there but no vomiting so far! Hoping it stays that way!

  • 6 weeks was when the nausea really kicked in for me! I'm enjoying my symptom free time while I can!

  • I had another Preggo test at home. Took it to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Lol still Preggo. No symptoms. Didn't have any with my dd either. Feel like I've won the lottery
  • Morning all, I'm new here.

This is my concern too - I'm not feeling sick at all.  I'm exhausted, but I think that can be chalked up to other reasons.  I also don't have sore boobs. I'm feeling very skeptical.  :(
  • Not feeling much yet here either. Not worried at all, but I'm ready for symptoms! Bring it on!

  • I am pretty much right in line with most of you. The mild waves of nausea or dizziness, the sore boobs, my daily naps. Sadly the nausea seems to kick in when driving. Hopefully that passes quickly.
  • I'm sure I'm worrying myself for no reason, but I just don't feel pregnant.   My only possible symptoms are exhaustion (which I think is something else) and lack of appetite.   I know everyone is different, but I feel like I'm the odd man out!
  • Don't jinx yourself :) I didn't have morning sickness with my first one--just sore boobs and EXTREME fatigue! You may be a lucky one!

  • I'm in the "don't jinx yourself" camp. I was saying the same thing when I was pregnant with DD. Then I was nauseous all.the.time! I get the occasional wave of nausea here and there and I'm super tired, but other than that, I have no symptoms either. I guess we'll see what happens!

  • This is #3 for me and I've never had a SINGLE symptom...not even sore boobs. Everyone is different!

  • Thanks everyone, it's nice to hear from others with experience or going through this as well.  I think I'm just still in shock, and nervous to get too excited.
  • Last time, my nausea didn't kick in until 6 or 7 weeks.  Thankfully, I never actually got sick, but feeling crappy still wasn't fun!

This time, feeling queasy is what made me test!  Thankfully, I've actually felt okay the last two days and my only symptom right now is BLOAT and a little minor cramping.

  • Sounds like most of us don't have a lot of symptoms right now! Just a twinge of nausea for me this morning. This is my first! Hoping I don't get really bad morning sickness!!!
  • I haven't had any symptoms yet (besides fatigue). Last time, I was nauseous by week 5 and had a chicken aversion, so I'm waiting for that to start if it does. It may not, some people never have "morning sickness". Consider yourself lucky if you end up in that group :)

  • I have dizziness, and sore boobs, and a wave of nausea but nothing serious yet. Still early on, with both of my boys, I had nothing at all..
  • With previous pregnancies, my nausea and food aversions didn't kick in until 6 or 7 weeks.  I'm trying to enjoy food while I can this time.

  • I'm 5 wks 3 d and I've been having queasiness when I wake up for the last 3 days, but it goes once I've had breakfast. I can feel it getting slightly stronger each morning, so I'm preparing for the next few weeks by buying in all the snacks that worked for me last time. Other than that I have tender bbs, sore back, occasional light cramps and I tend to lose all my energy between 2-6pm.

  • I'm right there with you mouse! I'm just tired but thought it might be psychological since I know I'm preg! Prob not though based on what everyone else is saying! • Has anyone had an upset stomach? My stomach has been awful going on 3 days. I read that pregnancy can either speed up or slow down your digestive system and several women experience upset stomach. Hopefully it will stop soon! Only other symptoms I've had is aching legs and lower back, which has seemed to calm down some.
