I went ahead and booked our flight to Nova Scotia before I had even applied for Evie's passport. It gave us three weeks exactly for it to get here. And you know what? It sure did! (Don't judge me too hard, I'm out of the house for at least 12 hours a day - I have 0 time for anything.)
So now it's all hitting me that I'm flying alone with a lap child and no idea what to expect on how she's going to behave. Generally, when she's experience new stuff, she's quiet and reserved. I'm scared her ears are going to hurt, I'm scared something ridiculous is going to happen at the gate, I'm scared we're going to be delayed and I'll be stuck on a plane for eight hours.
But MOSTLY I'm excited to have nine whole days with my girlie girl! Oh, and my family. I haven't seen my parents since this time last year, and everyone else I saw in May of last year.
I'm also a little scared I'm going to completely ruin my diet on donair pizza, poutine, and coffee crisp bars.
Re: I'm a risk-taker
mmmm, Donair....love so much!
I've never travelled with DD, but I've heard that if you giver her a sippy or a bottle or something to actively swallow for takeoff and landing her little ears should equalize along with yours.
Have fun!!

I hope you have a flight like mine! And if she is awake and needing to keep busy, here are some things that worked for us on the other flights when he was awake:
And the people around you will be a big help in entertaining her, because seriously, who can look at an adorable A12 kiddo and not want play peek-a-boo?
I always just wear T but if I were by myself, I would definitely bring the stroller as well, just to help with all the baggage.
Good luck! I've been to Nova Scotia on a cruise once, and went to the Titanic museum, which was one of the coolest places I've ever been!
