Head Throwing

Mr. C is almost 8 months old and has recently started throwing his head back when he is aggravated. Obviously a temper tantrum. I say no but I really dont know what else to do. I dont want to give him attention reinforcing a bad habit but I also want to address it. Any tips?

My 6 month old does this when he is overtired. I put him in the baby carrier and go for a walk and he is usually sleeping in 10 min or if not he at least calms down.
