NBR::dentist is fired!

I'm so done with my dentist! I had an appointment last week and the last few days I've realized my gum is becoming crazy sore! I look in my mouth and my gum is red and inflammed. I look a little closer and see something but can't really tell what it is. I felt it with finger. ..ouch... felt it with my tongue. .. super ouch. Umm so yeah. The needle he used to numb me BROKE OFF IN MY GUM AND HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING! I called in livid and they told me to come in tomorrow. I went ahead and told them don't expect a dime from me. DH is so mad! I'm mad too just in more pain than anything. A friend told me to ask for the piece when they remove it and take it to my attorney. Lol. I hope this has happened before. Sorry just venting.

OMG that is crazy!! What if it came out & u swallowed it?! They probably won't let u take it so take pix and document everything!!! If u really plan on going after them I would have a different dentist take it out....
Side note.... WTF, they can take you tomorrow?!?! Uh they should get u in now!!!

Ugh, I had a dentist leave a piece of that cleaning tool inside... yes.. inside my tooth when he did a root canal. He closed it and everything, worst three days of my life because they did not know what was going on and it felt like I was chewing tin foil when my teeth touched so I could not close my mouth. I lost two teeth because of it.

I am sorry you had to go through this, to be honest, if I was any older I would have sued, I think they should compensate something for you.

I called different dentists and they said I had to go back where it happened. Thanks a lot. .right! ?!? Yeah that was the soonest they could get me in. I wish I had a land line so I could've slammed the phone down I'm her ear . Darn touch phone.

Oh my gosh ! That is insane! I'm sorry that sounds super painful! The root canal was bad enough! I mentioned to DH what My friend said and I told him I have anOther tooth that needs worked on maybe then we'll call it even. He said after that not a chance. Lol I don't know what they would compensate for me since I'm not going to even let him clean my teeth after this is said and done. Lol

That is insane! I would be threatening to tell each and every one of the patients I encountered in the waiting room exactly what happened if they didn't get me in immediately! Good luck tomorrow!
