I am almost 13 weeks pregnant with di/di twins. We had our first MFM appointment last week which merged our NT scan with a consult which went very well. However, he informed me thst he didn't need to see me again until our A/S in 6-8 weeks which really surprised me. I assumed that I would be more closely monitored even this early along but wanted to see from others if this was the norm with di/di or if I should get a second opinion. Thanks!
Re: MFM appointment timing question
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
I saw a MFM at 12 weeks for NT scan- then 14 w and 17 weeks for cervical length checks (I had no previous issues with my cervix) and then again at 20 weeks for anatomy scan and cervical length- then 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 weeks for cervical length checks (again I had no issues with cervix). I had a growth scan at 30 and 32 weeks- and I delivered at 34 w 3 d before my next growth scan. I developed high BP at 31 weeks and pre-e at 34 weeks. I saw my OB for NSTs before my weekly appoints starting at 28 weeks.
