Mae as a first name, or Ila.

WDYT of Mae Patricia? (Patricia is my mom's name). Another option I am liking is Ila Anne (Anne is both mine and my mom's middle name).

Siblings are Russell Cole and Hazel Anne. Clearly we prefer old-fashioned/traditional names.

Is Ila pronounced like Isla? I like Isla, but the capital I and lower case L look odd next to each other. I would do Isla Mae or Isla Patricia, so she has her own name.

Mae on its own is sweet too, though.

My Mom, sister, and I all have the middle name Anne, so to me, it's not odd but yeah- I guess personally I'd rather they have their own unique MN.

It's not odd. I was sincerely asking for clarification. I agree with pp that the l next to the I looks odd. I prefer the Isla spelling. Isla Mae or Isla Patricia are super cute.

I love Mae. It's one of my most favorite names. As far as Ila...do you mean Isla? Ila looks awkward spelled out, which gives Mae a definite edge.

I like Mae Patricia. Ila looks like you misspelled Ella or Isla. I'm not a fan of Isla at all, because it looks like you forgot to finish spelling island. However I know it's a real name so I would definitely go with that over Ila. But Mae gets my vote.
