  • 1. How is it going? Any updates and or news?
No news for us. We are meeting with a new agency on Thursday to hopefully start working with them.

    2. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to about fall!? Fall is by far my favorite season. I love the cool weather, the leaves changing, and fresh apples and apple cinder. DH and I are actually driving from WI to Maine in Sep/Oct and I hope we see some awesome leaf colors!

    TTC since April 2010
    BFP #1 – March 2011, missed m/c April 2011
    BFP #2 – October 2011, m/c November 2011

  • Hi all!

I had my u/s and my new cyst took a hike! My left ovary looked totally normal sized again - to the point that my NP said "wow, I'm stunned - usually there is something still there but it's like it never happened!" - so I am green light for 9/23! I went in feeling a little pessimistic to be honest, so I walked out happy as a clam! I should hear from the nurse today to confirm, but I will start patches tonight and have blood work in a week, and go from there. Here's hoping for no more delays!

QOTW: To be honest, I normally LOVE fall but our Seattle summer has been so amazing, I'm sad to give it up. I have become accustomed to not having to factor the weather into your everyday plans (what to wear, where to go, what to do)...so we'll see how it goes!

Had my lining scan today which was supposed to be the last prior to next week's transfer. But my lining was a little thin at 7.4 but my e2 was at 1059. I have one more u/s on Friday to see where things are at. Fingers crossed.

    2. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to about fall!?

I love Fall! Austin is an inferno during the summer so I count down the days until the cooler weather. I think the thing I am most looking forward to is burning fall-scented candles. :)

  • 1. How is it going? Any updates and or news?

Had my anatomy scan today. Everything looked great and he is still a boy!  On the downside, I have apparently lost 11 pounds since my 16 week appointment (21 weeks today), and can't figure out how because I have been eating like crazy. Doctor wasn't concerned, but I found it a bit scary if I keep up at this rate. My BP was also way high which was quite upsetting as it has been normal for the past several weeks. So, more meds, which means more sleepiness. fun, fun.

    2. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to about fall!?

I live for fall. I love the smell of bonfires and there is just something about being wrapped up in a blanket on a Saturday watching football (oh, if only we had a fireplace to go with it!)

  • 2Mamaz yay for getting the green light!! I'm still on red...lol

JMS sorry about needing meds. FX everything falls in place with your health.

Well it's now 11 months on waiting list..grrr.

QOTW: I love the windows being open!! Wearing hoodies is another favorite and going to fall festivals in the mountains.

I hate to say it but I dislike anything pumpkin!!! Apple pie though is my favorite.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

  • No big updates...still on waiting list at clinic #1 and appt. at clinic #2 got moved up to sept. 25th. I have already spoken with the new doctor on the phone and he has some ideas for my own eggs but we haven't really decided if we are going to give it another shot or just go with a donor. I've been checking their donor database and nobody really stands out to me but I don't know it I can handle the disappointments and stress of going through more OE cycles. Plus we've been saving and I don't want to waste all our money!! I'm am looking forward to dressing in warm fall clothes (sweaters, uggs, jeans) and also football and soup Sundays! Yum! My bday is also coming up and we are doing a wine tour with friends so I can't wait for that :)

  • 1. How is it going? Any updates and or news?  Nothing new here.  24 weeks, time flying.  Have to go for additional images of baby's spine, which is a bit frustrating because I know she took pictures of spine during both a/s we have had.  Think everything is fine, but there's always that little doubt-there has to be a reason they want more images???

    2. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to about fall!? Planning a weekend at Mall of America to knock out our Christmas shopping in October.  Just looking forward to getting out of town.  Love the smell of burning leaves and being able to sleep with windows open, like camping but without being outdoors!!

  • Well, unfortunately I don't have a great update to share, as FET #1 was a BFN.  After investing so much time and money in immunological treatments, I thought this cycle would be different...

Even though I have two frosties remaining, needless to say I'm pretty devastated right now.  My doc said I could try again in October, but I have mixed feelings about it.  I hate to think that I'm running out of options and maybe my body just doesn't want to get pregnant...FML (sorry for the pity party, I think I just need a break).

Best wishes to all of you that are cycling in the coming months....I only wish success for each and every one of you!!

Me: AMA, DOR, undetectable AMH, carrier of SMA, MTHFR homozygous C677T, high cytokines, low IGg B cells, Factor XIII V34l mutation, High Anti-Phosphatidylethanolmine, borderline hypothyroid and mildly insulin resistant.

MH: No known issues, aside from MTHFR.

Recommendations from RI: LIT, Humira, IVIG, Lovenox, Baby Aspirin, Folic Acid, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.

Currently taking:  Pre-Natal vitamins, Foltanx, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.

When cycling also taking: Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, Humira and IVIG.

TTC since 7/11/09..with medical intervention starting in 2010, including 4 failed IVF's and 6 failed IUI's...only "success" was a chemical pregnancy in 11/2012 (credited to use of DE).

    FET #1 (11th cycle) on 8/23/13 = BFN.

FET #2 (12th cycle) Transfer of last two (day 6) donor egg blasts on 1/22/14 = BFP, EDD = 10/10/14 (please stick little BOY!)

    My favorite breed:

I am scheduled for our FET. It's gonna be Tuesday- Yay!

    2. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to about fall!?

I would say Pumpkin Spice coffee, but I can't find it in decaf. So I'm gonna say pumpkin spice muffins because I'm gonna want one with my plain ol' boring decaf coffee. I must be really hungry because I'm looking forward to getting a small version of our wedding cake in November for our 5 year anniversary. Marble cannoli cake.

  • Oh MrsT, I am so sorry.

Nothing has happened here.  I have not heard anything about a calender or the new nurse I'm supposed to be contacted by, now that I've been moved to a new recipient.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons.  I feel like the whole thing is a holiday.  I am especially excited for Thanksgiving, and curling up in a blanket with hot chocolate.
