This morning I was scheduled for another fluid check and cord doppler for the girls. Baby A's fluid level was > 8, and baby B's was 4+. Baby B still has "adequate" fluid, while Baby A is getting a little overloaded. The worse news, though, is that even though we can still see their little bladders and bellies (good sign), Baby B has reverse end-diastolic flow. The MFM told us that it looks like it is TTTS, though that is to be officially determined when we see a specialist 2 hours away tomorrow morning. I'm so scared. They said that without intervention we will likely lose both babies. At this point I am just praying that we are candidates for laser surgery, and then I can worry about how/if both come through then. Well, ok, realistically, I'm scared about that already too.
I'm so frustrated because I feel like we have known this was coming since week 16, but it's all been "wait and see". I just keep feeling them moving and it's usually such a comfort to me, but now all I can think is the worst; that this could be one of my last days with them.
Please, if you can spare any thoughts and prayers, keep my little girls in them.

T&P's hon. I'm so sorry. I've done a lot (too much) research on TTTS and there is a TTTS website here : https://www.tttsfoundation.org/ that is super helpful. You can find doctors in your area that do the laser surgery. It sounds like you are at Stage 1 right now which is just increased monitoring, when you get to stage 2 that's when they start looking at doing an amnio to balance out the fluid pressure (which is still considered an intervention) or refer you out for the laser surgery if that's something you want to consider. Plenty of babies stay at stage 1 once they are diagnosed, you may not get to Stage 2.
ETA : I think i'm wrong, they may do amnio reduction at stage 1.. I'm not a doctor sorry, I just read too much and open my mouth when I shouldn't.
HUGS.
