With my first born I was so severely sick at seven weeks that it was difficult to even drink water so I went on Zofran… It was a miracle drug and my son was born perfectly with no complications.
I'm now seven weeks with my second and I've been moderately sick since five weeks and it's only getting worse. I'm exhausted and I just feel downright awful. I haven't thrown up yet and I know it will be safe to take Zofran but I'm still hesitant to take anything if I don't have to... sigh!
there's no reason to suffer if you don't have to, and it's getting tough to take care of my almost 2 year old (I'm a SAHM) but I'm still hesitant!
anyone else feeling torn?

All are welcome in my posts
The only real side effect I had when I took it the first time was constipation but it ended up being a trade-off i could live with because I wasn't throwing up and sick. Zofran was originally made to treat nausea in cancer patients and it works wonders. But keep in mind it is very expensive if your insurance will not pay for it and some insurances will only pay for it if you try other things first, which i did, and hated! There was still times when I would gag and throw up but I definitely was not constantly nauseated like I was before I took it!
I have an appointment on Thursday and hoping to get it.
I'm right there with you! it's ok to question anything you are prescribed! (I always ask the pharmacist if things are safe when I'm pregnant) I even took it with my son and he was just fine and I'm still hesitant to take it… It's our job as moms to take care of my baby's starting now.
That being said it really is something that is safe for you to take and there's no reason to suffer if you don't have to!
