Nasty cough - help!

So I've been MIA for a long time. Work and life just got crazy. DD has an awful cough and nothing seems to be helping. Any advice? It's the middle of the night and she's barely slept. I tried an all-natural infant cough syrup, vapor rub, Tylenol in case a sore throat was making it worse, honey, sips of water, and now just started the warm water vaporizer with Kaz inhalant. It doesn't seem to be getting better. What do I do and when should I worry?

    How long has she had the cough? Does she have any other symptoms? If it's only just started, I'd probably wait a couple of days to see if it's a cold, or if other symptoms show up. If the cough is still terrible and waking her up after a few days, I'd probably call the pedi and see what they think.

    Ok, I typed out a big long message then went back and re-read your whole message...you've done about everything I was going to suggest.  If it persists, I'd call the ped.
