White tissue like pieces in urine

So this morning with my fmu I heard a plop and fearing the worst I got up and looked immediately. There was white tissue like particles floating in my urine. No blood just the white stuff. Please note I will be calling the dr but was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so was everything ok afterward? I just want to get some peace of mind before my dr opens in 4 hrs.

    I wouldn't worry! It just sounds like extra cervical mucus.. which is common during pregnancy! I've also noticed a lot more of it in my underwear and after I wipe (sorry TMI)

    I would assume CM, unless you are certain that it came from your urethra.

    im not certain where it came from i was half asleep and the plop woke me up lol but im hoping you guys are right. thanks ladies.

    I notice it sometimes, too. It's just extra cervical mucous. If you have a foul odor with it, you should be concerned, but just existing it isn't a problem. You should mention it to your doctor regardless of whether or not you think it's bad. Your doctor should be aware of all of your symptoms.

    I have plops, but I'm on Crinone so mine is likely buildup coming out. They say we have more CM especially early in pregnancy so like PP's I would guess that as well.

    did you have sex the night before? could also be from that if you are seeing little "pieces" of whitish stuff.

    If it has a smell you need to see a doctor there is a chance it's an infection, I don't know how they affect pregnancies but I've had the same symptom before and it was severe UTI that had traveled to my bladder, although this is very painful. You would definitely notice that...

    I  would guess CM or a yeast or vaginal infection!

    i called the ob coordinator (nurse) and she was pretty rude and actually laughed at me. im sorry that white mucusy tissue is such a common question but its pretty easy to understand why i would be concerned. she did not say it was cm but said that if im not bleeding or burning when i pee then im fine and then laughed at me. needless to say when i see the dr in a few weeks i will be asking if there is anyone else i can call since she doesnt seem to respect her patients and lacks compassion. 

    i did some more research online and evidently it is also a sign of dehydration. so ill up my water intake and not worry about it only happened the once anyway.

    I'm getting over a YI now but I clearly had other symptoms of a YI. I'd just keep my eye on it if I were you and don't be afraid to call the doc again! I'd call just to irritate the rude nurse. :-)
