Sinus infection: PCP or OB?

I've been dealing with a sinus headache for a few days. I took some OTC meds (from my approved list), but they're not touching it. I know this is definitely a FTM question, but is it okay to call my PCP about this?

I googled and one site said yes and another said no. Just figured some of you STMs could give me some guidance :)

Re: Sinus infection: PCP or OB?

  • I would start with the pcp and let them know you're pregnant. If you're concerned with what they prescribe, I would ask the OB if it's on the safe list.

  • Thanks ladies! I called and luckily got into my PCP. They are in the same network of drs (my ob and PCP) so I'm not too worried. Of course ill make sure she knows I'm KU and we will go from there...just ready for this headache to go away and my ears to stop hurting.
