Babyproofing your house~ how nuts are you going?

Are you going all out on baby proofing or are you just going to cover some of the bases? Tell me if you already have or if you are planning on it. What are you doing/ going to do when it comes to baby proofing and what are your top must-dos.

    We've done outlet covers, a gate by the staircase to the basement, door knob covers for closets and our kitchen cabinets already had the little hooky things because the previous owners had a little one. We haven't actually positioned them to lock yet though. Oh and we added some foam corners to our coffee table. We'll probably add more stuff later on but for our little crawler this works well for now.

    So far all I've done is plug covers.  DS is never crawling in the kitchen so I haven't secured the cupboards in there, but I will.  Ditto the cupboards in the bathroom.  Once he's walking solo I'm going to put a cover on the bathroom doorknob and keep the door closed.  Our stairs to the basement already have a gate, so that's done.  The only area I'm really worried about is the TV/stereo stand in the living room.  I think we're just going to block it off somehow.

    We will be doing plug covers and cabinet locks wherever we have cleaning supplies or potentially dangerous things stored. Our house is only one level so no real need for a baby gate. We're locking all DH's hunting stuff away. Can't really think of anything else right now... my guess is that other things will come up as she becomes more mobile!

    We aren't going too crazy. Outlet covers, cabinet locks, a baby gate that is as much for exiling our dog during thunderstorms as anything, and tv/furniture anchors. Not bothering with stuff like toilet locks, foam funiture corners, or doorknob covers.

    Though we will probably add those chain lock things up high on the exterior doors. I was a sleepwalker since toddlerhood, and my mom once caught me walking out the front door in the middle of the night when I was like 3 or 4, so I'm a bit paranoid about that!

    DD isn't crawling yet, so I'm taking my time. But so far I've done a few plug covers, cabinet locks on the cabinets that have cleaning stuff in them and furniture corners on a desk that has sharp corners on the bottom. We have a gate, but it'll be used to prevent her from going upstairs. If we have her upstairs at all, she'll likely be in her crib or we'll have a close eye on her. We spend most of the time downstairs in the living room and kitchen, and we can keep the door to the laundry room and bathroom closed.

    We did outlet cover and a baby gat ein front of stairs and blocking off livingroom so we can sit in there and him not leave the room lol We also have cabinets things for the kitchen. That is about it. We live in a ranch so I can shut all the bedroom and bathroom doors and all he is left with is a hallway. My hardest thing is the dog food dishes and water bowl, he CONSTANTLY wants to dig his hands in both. I wish I had a mud room for them to eat in, it would make it so much easier.
