Kiinde twist...Have any of you used this or want to?!

So today was the first time I have run across this product and was wondering if any of you had ever tried it or wanted to try it? Let me know what you think! Looks interesting.

It sounds neat but the system. Had with dd of just using the Lanolish bags worked fine. I had about 100oz stored for her in the freezer so the caddy seams useless. Also she was pretty picky about her bottle preference so I wouldn't want to spend $100 on it and find out she doesn't like it.

Thanks for the input ladies! Good to know what you have had experiences with and if I don't need to spend the money I don't want to, especially if the nipples become an issue. Also, good to know that you had no problems warming milk up on your own. There are reviews on the Kiinde Kozi (I guess what the warmer itself is called) on Amazon and they seem mixed.

Nipples can be an issue. There are several bottle nipples my dd refused. You don't know until they're born.

i think it looks like a waste of money. What happens if you want to store more milk than the number of bags it gives you?

If you are a working mom then you will probably have to prepare 4 bottles/day for LO while you are gone...this system only give you enough for a few days. Do you transfer your freezer stash over to this system, seems like that could get messy.

Maybe it would be good if you EP but if you nurse, the milk is the right temp anyway and if LO takes a bottle at daycare, let them figure out how to warm it.

TBH I also think the mommaroo and baby breaza/bullets are a waste of money too though.

To all interested in this system, they currently have a sale on Zulily.com. The @100.00 set goes for 59.99 and that doesn't seem to be too bad considering that the heater itself is normally $69.99. I took a risk and went for it. The bottle liners/storage bags are available in 20 and 40 packs. They have a short video on www.kiinde.com explaining how the system works and it actually looks very promising.

a girl i work with says they are the best thing ever. I already have a lot of types of bottles so i am not going to buy it but if someone bought it for me i will try it out. they are kind of expensive

I have been using the system for over a month now and I really like it! The system adapt to different nipple types so that is not an issue. My son took to the Kiinde nipple without difficulty. The bags are pricey I'm looking to see if you can reuse them and I may be writing the company because I have run across several bags that have had holes or leaks! I have found sales a few times on the bags. Target had the foodie bags half off and babies r us had BOGO on breast feeding supplies. If you order the system from target you get the foodie system for free!

I'm concerned about the disposable bags. Can someone fill me on the details here? I'm 8 months pregnant and this is my first so perhaps the answer would be obvious to someone with kids but wouldn't you go through the 20 disposable bags in a matter of days? 20 bags are $7. I can't see spending at least $7 a week on disposable bags... is that how it works or am I missing something?

I bought this system about a month ago. I LOVE it!! For some people this would not be a big deal, but I love that the bag connects straight to my pump!

I am a kindergarten teacher and will be returning to work in a few weeks. I will continue to pump so I need the process to be as fast as possible. I am limited on the amount of time I have available to pump. Being able to pump straight into the bag and not having to take the time to wash bottles (in the same sink my kids use to wash their hands) is a huge bonus for me. The bags are expensive but I feel they are worth it.

This will also help when the babysitter is having to get his bottles ready...it makes it so much easier and quicker.

My son did not like the slow nipple but has done great with the fast nipple. That is the only problem I have had so far.

I had a warmer with my first child and never used it so I didn't order the warmer that came with this system.

I guess it has its pros and cons just like any other system.
