1st Trimester

No symptoms at 8 weeks?

I have no symptoms at all, just frequent urination. No morning sickness , No sore boobs or anything. I had 2 miscarriages before this one and I'm really scared. Anybody else had no symptoms through there first trimester  or through there whole pregnancy and had a good and healthy pregnancy ? I'm so scared.

Re: No symptoms at 8 weeks?

  • Not everyone has symptoms and symptoms will vary person to person. I had mild nausea only when I felt really cold (bad with New England winters) but other than that, I felt reasonably normal for the first half of each pregnancy. All three were born healthy at full term.

I'm sorry for your losses and it's understandable that you're scared. Try to relax/destress as much as you can and enjoy this special time. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!

  • I'm 11 1/2 weeks and the only symptom I had was extreme fatigue between weeks 6-8. I've had no ms, no sore boobs, etc. I've had 2 appts already and at the most recent one we saw and heard the heartbeat. I was worried too but my doc said that some people don't get all the symptoms and to enjoy it. I wish you all the best!

  • my first two pregnancies I had absolutely no symptoms, I never would have known I was pg if it wasn't for the positive test.
  • My three pregnancies have been symptom-less with perfectly healthy deliveries. The only way I knew I was pregnant was by missing my period (I've always been very regular).
  • Im the same really, just peeing a lot & pretty much more tired than normal! Maybe we are just lucky :o) it is hard not to worry though......I'm guilty of it too :o)
  • I am 8 weeks and I have little to no symptoms. it had me worried at first but i have learned to enjoy this time of relaxation and excitement. most women i know cant recall not having symptoms at this stage and could really enjoy the excitement of being pregnant =)

I'm almost 11 weeks and I've had very minimal symptoms. Just frequent urination and some nausea and fatigue. I read on these forums somewhere that not getting your period is a symptom, so even if you feel like you don't have any symptoms, you do! That made me feel better.
  • Thankfully I haven't had any symptoms other than fatigue..... I'm convinced that they will sneak up on me within the next few oncoming weeks

Symptoms, or lack of symptoms, do not determine how healthy a pregnancy is. Some people get a lot of symptoms, some don't.
This. With baby #1, I had almost no symptoms my entire pregnancy. And I had a very healthy, easy pregnancy. (I was worried at first too, I was like "um, shouldn't I be throwing up every morning?")
