Period or delayed bleeding from D&E?

Hi ladies, I've haven't been super active the last week, but I've been lurking. Sorry to see new women on the board. I wish no one had to be here.
I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on bleeding stopping and starting after a D&E? Mine was done on 8/16, spotted for 5 days, then heavy bleeding and even passing tissue for 5 days, no bleeding 8/26 to 8/30, spotting 8/31, and now heavier red bleeding and cramping again today 9/1. It's only just over 2 weeks from my D&E, almost 4wks from when baby's heart stopped at 6w3d. It can't be af, can it? I'm supposed to start another medicated cycle when cd1 hits, but hth am I supposed to know when that is for sure?! So sick if all these unknowns.

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
 3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Thanks for the input. I am seeing an RE, but for some reason they said tracking betas after a D&E (pretty much same thing as a D&C, they just use the term evacuation instead of curettage) wasn't necessary. I'm beginning to disagree. I could try temping, but I'm up during the night so it's usually a little off. Probably could get a general idea though. Thanks again!

    Sounds like it is still from the D&E. My doctor told me to call if the bleeding started getting heavier and included passing clots. Might be worth giving your doc a call just to be safe.
