Mine has had a couple lazy days but I did kick counts during what is usually her most active part of the day and still felt 10 well within the hour. My midwife told me I might have been having a lot of Braxton hicks contractions that day without noticing it. The BH make it harder to feel movements. She brought this up because I was unknowingly having a BH when she went to feel my belly to check baby's position. Baby moved while she did it and asked me if I felt that and I hadn't. She said I may need to sit or lay down with my hands on my belly to feel the movements if she doesn't seem very active.
I agree with ppl. Drink cold water and lay on your side. If that doesn't work try eating a cookie and drinking a glass of milk. To answer your question, it is completely normal for baby to have a lazy day(s). Occasionally, I go without feeling baby, but I do the cold water test and he will usually move.
Yes, it happens. But I would listen to your gut. If you feel "off" or you still feel movement but it's not the same as usual, go in.
With this last baby (7w old now), I was told that it was great I listened to my instinct because he would've been stillborn if left another 2-7 days. He was born at 34w4d.
If ever u feel concerned, check with your OB. My LO had less movement, fluid ended up being low, which now resulted in hospital bed rest and I'm 33w3d. Baby may come today if fluid keeps dropping. Hope this isn't the same for you, but better safe than sorry.

yes it is normal. I had several days where my son use to not move much and would make me worry so i understand how you feel. However, if you truly feel that something is wrong, talk to your doctor asap so they can check for fetal movement.
My daughter will be crazy for a few days, then take a couple days to chill out. It's become sort of a cycle. I guess babies need to have lazy days. They are working hard on growing and fattening up.
Thank you guys for all the advice! Everything was fine. She was just having a slow day and her movement picked back up again the next day. Sorry it took me a few months to respond. I haven't been on here in a while.
Re: Is a lazy day normal for baby?
BTW how did you add the pictures to your signatures?
Thanks!

I get worried when the baby is quiet as well, then sometimes I think my belly could use a break lol.
My mom said when she was pregnant with my sister she would get 1 kick a day to let her know she was still doing okay. Every baby is different.
