Please send T & Ps to some friends of mine. She has had 5 or 6 miscarriages and is pregnant again. She's made it farther than ever, and they went for their 12 week ultrasound yesterday and for the nuchal transparency test. The measurement was bad enough they got sent to a specialist today. They are saying that based on the scan, they suspect Downs Syndrome and 2 other possible chromosomal defects, also possibly a heart defect. They are waiting for blood work to confirm or rule out all of those things. Please keep them in your T & Ps as they are stuck waiting and deciding what to do from here.
