XP: Carseat for sitter

Can someone recommend a cheap yet safe convertible car seat that I can buy for the sitter? James only goes to her maybe 1-2 days per week, but I need a seat for her b/c she has to go pick up her daughter from school while she is watching James. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something that will be safe.
