Thanks ladies!! DH actually picked the color for the leaves- I was skeptical. So happy I went with his pick and not mine (dark green or the same brown).
@rgoblue My crib is baby cache Montana (have the matching dresser on the other wall). The decal colors are chocolate brown for the trunks and nut brown for the leaves.
My whole house is actually painted that color- it was that way when we moved it. We love it, and are planning to move next year, so didn't want to change it. I *did* add a fresh coat, and our paint is matte (no gloss)--- I think it really helped the decals stick, and I think that's why mine looks more painted instead of decal-ly.
@holly142 hehe I will probably be a major AW. Mine is woodland themed, but not too babyish. Probably going to go with very plain/solid sheets/blankets, but with a sprinkling of handmade etsy stuff throughout the room.
