Riding the infertility train again

Hey ladies. I haven't been on the bump for years. In 2008/2009 DH and I went through infertility testing and after 3 months of Femara 5 mg, I got pregnant with DS. Last year we tried Femara again and for 2 months it failed to make me ovulate. So after taking a break, we're back at it again. This morning I took my first dose of 7.5 mg Femara and I've been taking metformin twice daily. Bring on the Femara headaches and hot flashes. Here's to hoping for BFP's for all!

    Welcome, but you need a siggy warning in the title of your post as well..it helps those ladies who are having a rough day to know not to open your post and see a picture of your child. Good luck!

    TTC since July 2011
    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Cute kid, but this should be a safe place for those of us struggling to have our first.

    2/13: DH's T went from 190 to 777!
    Cycle 1 1/25/13: Clomid 100mg + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = Ectopic pregnancy
    3/7/13: MTX injections put me on the bench.
    Cycle 2 6/7/13: Clomid 100mg CD3-7 = No response
    Cycle 2.1 Clomid 150mg CD 19-23 + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 3 7/21/13: Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #1 + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 4 8/25/13: Bravelle 75-112iu + Trigger + IUI #2 + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 5 9/23/13: Bravelle 75-225iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Progesterone = BFFN
    Onto IVF - starting injects on Christmas Day

    I agree! I believe there is a secondary IF board that would be just perfect for OP.

    Um, wow. I'm sorry, I had no idea a picture of a child would be offensive.
    This place has changed, it used to be supportive and possitive, the only disclaimers we ever had to post were TMI.
    I think I'll not be coming back to The Bump.

    A bit dramatic are you? As someone who experienced infertility with your first you would you like think you would be a little bit more understanding. All PP asked for was a warning, no one was rude to you. 

    Nope, still don't get it. While TTC #1, I never got upset by a picture of a baby. I understand the heartache everyone is experiencing but I don't understand the new odd rules around here. I'll find support somewhere else...

    I thought you weren't coming back. No one was rude or dramatic to you - there is a board that is better for your situation. No one here can relate to you at all, we are all struggling to get #1. Some days IF is so painful that it's not easy to look at kid pictures and an infertility board is a place to come to get away from it and connect to like minded ladies. I'm glad you can't relate, it's a shitty situation to find yourself in.

    I can understand how attacked you must feel, JessKnell. I'm so sorry. I hope you find the support you need. IF stinks and we should stick together.

    Take a look at all the envy threads here and then tell me again how it is acceptable to not be willing to warn us about a picture of a child in the sig. It was a simple request that she blew up. This is a support group for a wide variety of women - if she can't be respectful, there are other boards where she will fit in.
