This past week DD wasn't finishing the last couple ounces of at least one bottle daily at DC. Yesterday she refused 3oz of one and 2oz of another, so she was down almost a whole bottle by the time we got home which luckily I was able to get an extra bottle in before bed to make up for it. In speaking to the DC provider, we determined it could be that they warm the bottle I give it to her room temperature. Well...today she's making it really tough for me to get the last half of her bottles in her. She plays with the nipple, pushes the bottle away so that she can talk and blow raspberries. Finally she does finish it and she winds up sucking it down so I know she's still hungry. Anyone else's LO doing this? It's like she's fascinated by her voice and can't get enough of it. I love all the talking she's doing, but not during bottle time.

Re: Difficult to finish bottle
Nope. It's after her mid bottle burp.
But then I remember that I'll have days in a row where I don't finish my meal, and I've managed not to die of starvation. LOL. Seriously, though, I think/hope it's normal for them to go for a few days (or weeks) of eating less, or being less "focused" during bottle time.
