Positive HPT's for sale on craigslist? For reals? No good can come of this.


   Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!  
Cycle 16: Natural IUI = CP, Cycle 17: Femara (2.5) + IUI = BFN, Cycle 18 Femara (5) + IUI = BFFN, Cycle 19: Break
Cycle 20: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP EDD 6/20, transvaginal cerclage 12/19, Carson Quinn born sleeping at 16w3d on 1/6/15 due to IC
Phone consult with Dr. Haney (Univ of Chicago) for transabdominal cercalge scheduled for 2/9/15.

    That's crazy! Not long ago there was some girl that wanted to know how to get a positive pee stick without being pregnant.... there are some crazies out there!

    Someone posted a site a while back that sells tests, ultrasound pics, and even fake bellies! What is wrong with women who buy this crap?

    I save all of mine from my pregnancies .... I know I'm probably weird. I have 3 right now in my cabinet from my last miscarriage ..... Wonder what I could get for them? Lol

    I'm trying to grasp by someone would want and buy one.   I should be more surprised, but the world is crazy.  I'm not.  I do find it highly gross, though... I mean, some lady peed on those.  And someone is gonna buy it.

    I was going to save mine but when I got it out of the cabinet about 3 months later the screen was blank. Im not sure if it only does that with digitals and the dye tests last forever though.

    What is wrong with people! There is no good reason that I could think of for someone to need to buy a positive HPT. 

    I won't even save my own HPT when/if I get a BFP. I mean, seriously - why do I want/need to look back at a stick I peed on? I'll take a photo it for memories and in the trash it will go.

    I like the first ad, in which the woman says she had been asked numerous times for a positive pregnancy test. Seriously, what part of Buffalo, NY do you live in that people were hitting you up left and right for a positive pregnancy test? I need to avoid going there.

    That is insane. I know of a girl who faked her entire pregnancy up until the baby was "born", then she said it died but she showed people a picture of a baby but this baby was not a brand new baby and others found the picture off google. How awkward. She moved out of our town shortly after she found out she was "pregnant".

    I seriously couldn't even believe it. I have lost a baby due to miscarriage myself and it angered me to see that someone would make that shit up!

    I kept two of my HPTs from my first pregnancy, but simply because that's just all I have to show for it. No baby, no u/s pics, etc. I guess I'm attached to them. If I had a full term and healthy pregnancy, I wouldn't have saved the pee sticks. I guess sometimes you just get attached to silly things when they mean the world to you. :(( But my NO MEANS would I ever sell them!!! *face palm*

    Oh hellll no!! As a family law attorney, this both horrifies me and promises job security for a very long time. 

    TTC our first. Married to, and madly in love with, my beautiful wife. Living with our fur baby and enjoying 19 nieces and nephews. 
    • DW and I have been tracking, preparing, getting medical testing since January 2013.
    • First Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 08/02/13: BFN
    • Second Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 09/11/13, 09/13/13, 09/15/13: BFN
    • Third Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm: 10/13/13, 10/15/13, 10/17/13, 10/21/13: BFN
    • January 2014: Sonohysterogram shows excellent lining & tubes have no blockages
    • Fourth Cycle:  Monitored clomid cycle  w/ ICI's at home: 1/24/14 and 1/25/14. Ovulation verified:  BFN
    • Fifth Cycle: 02/2014 Femara 5mg with ovidrel trigger CD14: BFN
    • Taking a few months off to evaluate if we want to keep trying

    I just don't see why anyone would want to trap someone in the first place. I guess if you're an extremely lonely person...... no, even then, still don't see it. It just screams misery/heartache to me.

    This is CRAZY. I can't believe this actually exists. That HPT was exactly what the crazy girl was looking for in the old thread. It even has a button to click that says you won't use it for "fraudulent purposes". This stuff is scary.
