mixed feelings - best coworker friend just announced

I'm thrilled for them but this is a lot closer to home than the other pregnant family/friends out there. It'll be a lot harder to come to work every day and hear about this while I spend the next couple months getting off some meds so we can safely get pregnant. Don't miss the part about being thrilled! But it's also made me much moodier since I heard... *sigh* I can blame the meds!!!

    It is understandable to have mixed feelings.  Be supportive when you need to but if you feel uncomfortable, there is nothing wrong with having some space.  Hopefully you will be where you want to be sooner rather than later.  Best of luck!

    I totaly understand where you are coming from.  I have a ton of friends (one who I consider one of my best friends) who are due any time now or just found out they are prego.  My DH and I want to start TTC but have to wait until at least November for his new insurance to kick in since he just started a new job.  It is so hard becasue although you are so excited that they are expecting you want to be expecting too and the wait seems unbearable at times.  Just hang in there and know that you are not alone.  I hope you get prego right away when you are able to :)

    The waiting game is tough. Find ways to distract yourself like taking up a new hobby or work towards an unrelated goal. Be supportive of your friend, but keep enough space so you don't get bitter.
