Change OB?

I just found out I'm pregnant this past weekend! I'm only about 5 weeks though. I have been seeing GYN but there are OBs in the same practice I was planning on switching to once pregnant. I just recently found out that they are merging with another practice and now under the ownership on North Shore. I live about 40 minutes from the practice but stayed with them because they were associated with WInthrop and my husband is a doctor associated with Winthrop also so he has hospital rights.

Im not sure if I should stick with my old practice and just deliver at North Shore, find a new dr associated with Winthrop, or find a new doctor that is closer to home (western Suffolk) as opposed to 40 minutes away. I'm wondering if I'm going to want to drive 40 min every other week and every week when I get closer to delivery.

What would you do?

I would be more concerned with driving 40 minutes while in labor rather than to and from appts.

I found a great dr (Dr. Dolisi) last week but he's in Garden City Park. He is affiliated with Winthrop though.
