And I'm not into rushing Mother Nature. Yes, when ripe the fruit will fall!! But with that being said, I'm over it. And anxious about when it will start as far as child care, getting my birth team here, etc. I have an acupuncture appointment scheduled for next Thursday, 2 days shy of 40 weeks. Has anyone used this to start labor moving along?
Second question. And I feel ridiculous asking as this is my 4th baby. You'd think I'd know. But every birth is different. With all my others I had signs seething was happening, specifically days and weeks of Braxton hicks. This time around NOTHING. Any stories about going zero to sixty out there? I have a sneaking suspicion thats what this nugget has planned.
Have a great holiday weekend, ladies!!
Re: 39 weeks today and no signs of labor!!
In the middle of that afternoon, I had 2 super long, super strong back labor contractions. I opened my eyes, told DH (who was right in the room with me), "this is it! Get everyone here now!" And 2 hours later I was holding A.
This time around, I am having tons of random BH. I am over it. I am about 37 weeks. I'd be just fine if LO decided to come soon.
I can't say whether it made the difference or not, but I had used EPO twice vaginally on Saturday and Sunday nights before he was born. I know my body was probably ready but I'm thinking the EPO helped soften things up just enough to get things moving along.
