I was told at my first prenatal appt at 8w1d that I'm not considered "super high risk" but because my BMI is a bit higher then it should be they will keep a closer eye on me and do bio scans to watch the baby...
Anyone else considered high risk? Anything specific I should be doing/watching for? I will find out more next time but I was in information overload by that point!
I'm considered high risk for now because I had an IUD when I got pregnant and my 2 year old daughter has a genetic condition. For you, I don't think that you really have anything other than the normal things to look for/report. i.e. bleeding, excessive pain/cramping, reporting any symptoms at appointments. Ever in doubt, ask your dr. That's what they are for. Sounds like they are doing a good job taking care of you and being cautious.
