I work saturdays and on saturday the 14th is the holiest day for my religion. I do not have enough accrued time off to take it off because my PTO gets used every time I log out to pee or puke.each time I log out it has to be a minimum of 5 minutes. Ugh. I will never have time off because every day I'm logged out for 10-50 minutes in a 10 hour shift. I only accrue 10 hours per month.

I'm assuming you're talking about Yom Kippur. That's like asking a religious Christian to work on Easter. If your workplace is closed on Easter, you could argue that this policy is discriminatory. I would look into what your rights are, it's a really important day. I'm self employed and have no idea how covered you are by the law. Good luck!

This doesn't seem legal... I would fight it. I always though work cannot make you take personal or vacation days for religious reasons.

I get three 15 minute breaks and a 1 hr lunch. Anything further uses my time off.

I would take it unpaid, if necessary. You should not be working on YK. I am taking RH unpaid on Thursday.

ETA: The law does not, from what I understand, guarantee you PTO above and beyond what you already have, but they cannot legally deny you your right to take it unpaid.
