1 hour glucose twice?

Last Saturday I took the 1 hour and failed.

I just showed up prepared for the 3 hour and my doctor ordered the 1 hour again. Anyone heard of that? The doctor's office isn't open today so I can't call to confirm. So right now I'm doing the one hour and half expecting hace to do the 3 hour next week.

Odd.. I haven't heard of that before. I'm wondering if there was a mix up in paperwork?

I haven't heard of that before either. This is my third pregnancy and each time I failed the 1 hour and went on to the 3 hour test. I'm sorry - hoping there isn't a mix-up and you don't have to do it again!

Hmmmm that's weird. Maybe you were borderline? I've heard of people who were under the "limit" but within a few points of it taking the one hour again at 28 weeks or so (after taking it at 24 weeks). Maybe you were really close to the cutoff and they're going to try the 1 hour again to see if you need to take the 3 hour??? That's the best reason I can come up with.

Hey there! I passed my first but my doc is making me do the 1 hr again this week bc of family history and my weight.... I guess they can get the info they need from that just as well.
