I'm so sick of people's comments to me lately, specifically my in-laws. Comments range from sleeping on the tummy; to adding cereal to a bottle; to plans to teach my baby to swim in a pool - hell no! They do not pay attention and love to drink wine poolside to the point of tipsy/drunk; to "babies cry, he'll tire out"; to you just need to get out of the house. I may be tired and hormonal, but these remarks are getting to me. I'm not a helicopter parent, and I do follow the advice of my pediatrician. I'm sick of these judgmental side eyes and mumbling under breath making me feel like they are judging me for being a "over protective" FTM and yes actually doing research on different ways to parent. Since they make such uninformed comments to me about what they plan to do with my baby, why in God's name would I be okay with leaving my child with you? So please stop telling me you are working half days now so that you can take care of the baby, and how great it is that the baby takes a bottle, and that you bought a bigger car to transport my child to events. Thats great and all, but this is not your kid. And you've never been reliable. Despite claiming you want to "help out" Not once have you actually come over to help me. Ugh!!!!! Ok vent over.

Do we have the same mil? She did that with Corri too and it drove me insane...I'm like "woman, it's FVCKING July, get over it, the kid won't be wearing socks"!
If MIL starts in again with "your making him too fat" BS I'm going to round-house her fat-phobic face. He's a BABY FFS. He is supposed to be chubby! "Give him a bottle of water" when he has hiccups. No, I'd rather not end up in the ER, thanks. Hiccups won't kill him but a full bottle of water might. JFC.
