Unforeseen Potty Training Eeeeewwww

So, I guess my kid pooped in some pj pants and I didn't know.  Swooped them off the bathroom floor in a pile of clothes and tossed in the wash.  Went to put in the dryer and thought they all smelled horribly, so I rewashed.  Went to put in dryer, picked up offending pants and took a big old whiff.  After almost vomiting, found the big poop in the pant leg.  Threw pants in the trash, did a quick search through rest of laundry, rewashing load (possibly 1000 more times.)  OH MY GOD.

    Oh no!!!! Poop in the washer is no good!

     

    We CD, so we have a diaper sprayer attached to the toilet - I didn't realize it would come in handy when PTing too since DS pooped in his undies for like the first 1-2 months after we started potty training!

    Well if iot makes you feel any better you know that old expression "I really stepped in it this time" I did, today, barefoot....potty training sucks.

    DS went to the bathroom to potty without telling me. He found me and was crying saying he peepee'd. He took my hand and showed me where he peed and pooped in the kitchen floor! I took him to the bathroom to clean him up and realized he pooped the majority in the toilet so he redeemed himself lol


    And when I lay him down for a nap, he takes off his pull-ups and puts underwear on. We've had a few accidents needless to say

    Ewwwww! Whenever we finally put DS in undies, now I will know to check his pants before throwing them in the laundry!

    Unbeknownst to me DC left a turd in DD's panties, so I feel your pain.  Fortunately (?) I found parts of the turd on the inside of the washer before I commenced the drying process.  Unpleasant.

    Our DC has done this.  J's main teacher was on vacation this week, so he had a few accidents since I guess the floaters didn't really know his potty schedule.  I got his dirty undies out to soak them and it looked like they didn't do anything but take the undies off and put them right in a bag. I almost threw up. Luckily, DH handled it.
